How to Translate Text in Image and Save as a New Image

In our daily life or work, we often encounter situations where we need to translate text on images, such as translating product images for foreign trade e-commerce, instructions on foreign products, or signboards at tourist attractions.

Step 1: Visit the PhoText Website

PhoText is an online tool for editing text in images.

Open the address bar and enter "https://photext.shop" to go to the homepage of PhoText:

Step 2: Upload Image

On the homepage of the PhoText website, you will see an "Upload Image" button. Click this button to upload the product image you want to modify. Once the upload is complete, we will enter the image editor page:

Step 3: Translate Text

Here we want to change the Chinese(Traditional) text in the image to English. First, copy all the text from the information panel on the left to your preferred translation software:

Step 4: Edit Text

Usually, we directly click on the text in the image to activate the editing panel and replace the original text, adjust the size and position:

Sometimes the text recognition in this image is not precise enough, In this case, adding a text box is more convenient.

To use a text box to replace the original text, we first need to remove the original text. Click "Removal" on the left, mark the original text area, then choose a removal effect:

Next, add a text box to the corresponding position and replace it with the translated text:
